Laser Hair Removal
Medical-grade diode laser, with settings matched to your skin type — not a one-setting-fits-all machine.
Why skin type decides everything
Laser works by targeting pigment in the follicle. On darker skin tones the surrounding skin holds pigment too, so the wrong wavelength or energy risks burns and post-inflammatory marking. Our diode platform is selected and adjusted for the full range of skin types common in Dubai, and every course begins with a patch test.
Areas treated
- Full body, half body and standard packages
- Face — upper lip, chin, jawline, sideburns
- Underarms, arms, bikini and Brazilian
- Legs, back, chest and shoulders
How many sessions
Hair grows in cycles, and laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase — which is why one session cannot clear an area. Most patients need six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, then occasional maintenance. Hormonal factors, including PCOS, can change that count.
Preparing for a session
- Shave the area 24 hours before — do not wax, pluck or thread for four weeks prior
- No sun exposure or self-tan for two weeks before
- Come with clean skin, no deodorant or makeup on the treatment area
- Use SPF on exposed treated areas afterwards
A patch test is required before your first full session. Results vary with hair colour, thickness and hormonal factors.
Questions
Frequently asked
Straight answers. Anything specific to your case is settled at the consultation.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes, with the correct wavelength and energy settings, which is what the patch test establishes. This is precisely where cheap or poorly configured devices cause harm.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually six to eight, spaced four to six weeks apart, because only follicles in the active growth phase respond to each pass.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe a warm snap. Our diode handpiece has integrated cooling, and treatment can be paused at any point.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes — shaving is fine and expected. Waxing, plucking and threading are not, because they remove the follicle the laser needs to target.
