Stem Cell Therapy

Regenerative medicine with a diagnostic workup in front of it — and an honest answer about whether you are a candidate.

Stem Cell Therapy at Johns Hopkins Polyclinic

How we approach it

Regenerative medicine attracts more marketing than evidence. Our position is straightforward: a full diagnostic workup comes first, the realistic range of outcomes is explained in plain terms, and if you are not a good candidate we will tell you so rather than sell you a course.

Where it is considered

  • Degenerative joint conditions, particularly knee and shoulder
  • Chronic tendon problems that have not responded to conservative care
  • Recovery support alongside a structured rehabilitation plan
  • Selected aesthetic and hair-restoration applications

The pathway

  • Consultation — history, examination, review of previous treatment
  • Diagnostics — imaging and bloodwork as indicated
  • Candidacy discussion — what the treatment can and cannot address in your case
  • Procedure — performed in-clinic under sterile conditions
  • Rehabilitation — structured follow-up, because the procedure alone is not the treatment

Setting expectations

Regenerative protocols are not a guaranteed alternative to surgery, and response varies considerably between patients. Anyone presenting this as a certainty is not describing the evidence accurately. What we commit to is a clear-eyed assessment and a plan that is honest about probability.

All regenerative treatments are provided in line with UAE and DHA regulatory requirements. Candidacy is determined by a physician.

Questions

Frequently asked

Straight answers. Anything specific to your case is settled at the consultation.

Am I a candidate?

That is settled by consultation and diagnostics, not by a web page. Some conditions respond well, others do not, and we will say which yours is.

Is it a replacement for surgery?

Not reliably. In selected cases it may delay or reduce the need for surgical intervention, but it should not be presented as a guaranteed alternative.

How long is recovery?

Most patients return to daily activity quickly, but the rehabilitation programme afterwards runs for weeks and is a real part of the outcome.

Is stem cell therapy regulated in Dubai?

Yes. Treatment is delivered within UAE and DHA regulatory requirements, under our clinic license 1498927.

Your longevity protocol starts with one consultation.

No obligation. A physician reviews your goals before any treatment plan is built.
